What do I do if a required class I want to register for is full?
Whenever you encounter a full class that is required for your major, you should always
- Get on the waitinglist
- Keep checking online for class openings DAILY. If you find an opening, go for it.
- If you're not in the class by the first day, attend anyway, and speak with the Professor.
What do I do if I need an override?
Have you completed all required prerequisites? If so:
Send an e-mail to the professor with the following information:
- Your full name
- Your OSU ID #
- The CRN for the course
- Why you need a prerequisite
If you don't include all of the above information, we can not issue the override. If the professor approves the override, they will forward the e-mail to the BB Office. You will be notified via e-mail once your override has been completed. Once you have received the email you will need to register for the class.
