As an instructor for the Biochemistry and Biophysics Department and the Biology Program, I have a strong interest in preparing undergraduate and graduate students for a variety of careers in the life sciences and supporting life-long learning in STEM.

The STEPs Program is a K-12 science outreach program at Oregon State University which has been funded by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Its mission is to support and improve science, math, health, and engineering education for K-12 teachers and students throughout the state of Oregon. http://steps.oregonstate.edu/
